Are ______ good or bad?

Good or Bad is a value judgement that can be applied to many categories of people and things, either collectively or individually. Good or bad is often a moral question to most people. But it has many different meanings. We can ask whether people or things are good or bad for us (whoever us is), our nation, humanity, or our planet. We can ask whether people or things are good or bad at doing whatever they are supposed to do (based on whoever decides what they are supposed to do). These people or things could be the entire set or a subset or an individual element of the category. They could be activities rather than things. Exploring the value of human activities and the functions of things is a powerful and sometimes provocative tool for understanding things from a different perspective.
